How do I play gigaverse?

➜ Go to https://gigaverse.io/ and create an account.

What faction should I choose?

➜ It's up to you! There is no 'best choice'. We may later introduce a way for you to change your choice.

What do gigaverse ROMs do?

➜ ROMs are ERC721 factory NFTs which give holders a number of benefits: extra energy in game, rare resources to claim, future utility in upcoming features and more.

Where can I purchase a gigaverse ROM?

What are the differences between ROM rarity tiers?

➜ Higher rarity tiers produce more resources.

What about the faction trait?

➜ This determines what type of resources you claim.

What are the differences between the memory tiers?

➜ Larger memory produces more energy.

What about the serial numbers?

It hasn't been revealed yet what the serial numbers do.

What new game features are being worked on?

➜ We don't publish an official or public roadmap. This allows us to stay agile and release cool things unexpectedly.

Is there a game token?

➜ There is no game token yet.

How do you import / export game items?

➜ Go to 'trade port' in game. Here you can export your earned items, moving them onchain where they can be transferred or sold. If you buy items from the secondary market, you will need to import them to use in-game.

What is a giganoob NFT / gigaverse names?

➜ When you join gigaverse as a new player, a character is minted (giganoob) which is not tradeable, as well as a player name, which is tradeable.

What are GLHFers?

➜ Our genesis NFT collection: nostalgia infused pixel gaming characters, on Ethereum L1. Find links to the collection in the Links & Contract page.

What are the 1/1 Special Characters?

➜ Within the GLHFers collection, there are 1/1 Special Characters, some of which had special abilities or mechanics during the time of their auction, or afterwards, such as the 'masters of the gigaverse' series of 7 characters which act as skin factories in gigaverse.

How do the auctions work, how many are left?

➜ Over 100 actions remain. They will take place very slowly over time - potentially years. Funds raised from auctions go to the Auctioneer, who's primary use for them is to sweep & burn the floor of the GLHFers collection.

What is programmatic whitelisting?

➜ A new way of curating a whitelist for a mint, or selecting recipients for an airdrop. The GLHF team has created a system for this, we've used it ourselves and have made it available to other teams as well, including Pirate Nation, TODAY (Youmio), Lizard Labs, and others.

How to move a gigaverse ROM to AGW?

➜ ROMs cannot be transferred within the Magic Eden interface (Magic Eden gives a bad gas quote). Use zkMarkets, or transfer from the Abstract portal. If you need assistance, ask in our Discord ⁠support channel.

How is Abstract XP awarded to gigaverse?

➜ Abstract XP is awarded for (1) holding gigaverse ROM NFTs and (2) playing gigaverse.
